The Gang Tends Bar
Criminal Activities
Accounting Fraud
Deliberately falsifying financial records or manipulating books to conceal true financial condition (fraud, tax evasion, and related offenses under state and federal law).
Situation:
"Frank admits on-site that he 'already cooked the books' when discussing the bar's finances and closing out the day."
Poisoning
Deliberately poisoning or contaminating food/consumables and/or administering a harmful substance to other people, causing or intended to cause illness (criminal poisoning/food tampering; could support charges of assault or attempted murder depending on intent and effect).
Situation:
"Charlie laced chocolates with 'Bye-Bye Jerry' pills and gave them to Frank (presenting them as treats); Frank ate them and exclaimed he had been poisoned."
Possession and Use of a Controlled Substance
Possession and use of an illicit controlled substance (PCP) on the bar's premises; in many jurisdictions possession and public use are crimes, and facilitating use on business premises can create additional liability.
Situation:
"Cricket asks to go into the bar bathroom to smoke PCP and is explicitly encouraged by the gang to do so; the dialogue indicates he smokes PCP on the premises."
Possession of a Destructive Device
Possession and procurement/trafficking of a destructive/explosive weapon (possession of an unregistered destructive device and acquisition via illicit channels such as the dark web are federal/state felonies).
Situation:
"Mac ordered and arranged delivery of an RPG via the dark web; a crate containing the weapon was brought to the bar and Dennis accepted/received it when it was opened."
