Criminal Activities
Assault
Threatening another with imminent physical harm or displaying a weapon in a manner that puts others in reasonable fear of harm; in many jurisdictions brandishing a firearm or threatening violence is a criminal offense.
Situation:
"Dee becomes violent and attacks people (she's described as 'gone nuts' and 'infected' and there are multiple reports of people being attacked/bitten). In addition, multiple wedding guests (later revealed to be high on spiked milk) behave violently and injure other attendees (e.g., the groom's face is described as 'half gone'). Those violent physical attacks are depicted in the episode."
Disorderly Conduct
Disorderly conduct statutes (and harassment laws) prohibit behavior that unreasonably disturbs the peace, causes alarm, or harasses another person in public. This commonly includes loud/violent/abusive conduct in public spaces, bum‑rushing or persistently following/approaching someone in a manner likely to cause alarm, and provoking or creating a public disturbance.
Situation:
"The gang's crashing of the wedding, loud shouting, physical altercations, and actions that result in many injured guests (the officer reports '15 different wedding guests out there with various degrees of injury') constitute disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace."
Drugging
Intentionally adding a dangerous or controlled substance to another person's food or drink (administering or poisoning) and distributing illegal controlled substances. This can be prosecuted as poisoning, assault by means of administering a drug, reckless endangerment, and possession/distribution of controlled substances under state and federal law.
Situation:
"Bill Ponderosa openly admits he 'spiked the milk with methylenedioxypyrovalerone' (bath salts). The spiked milk causes guests to become violently disinhibited/cannibalistic, resulting in multiple injuries. Bill's deliberate act of dosing a communal beverage with an illegal stimulant is depicted as the proximate cause of the violent injuries at the wedding."
Trespass
Unlawful entry into a building (school) with the intent to commit an offense inside (unauthorized entry / burglary or trespass depending on jurisdiction).
Situation:
"The core gang (Dennis, Mac, Charlie, Frank and later Dee) crash Maureen Ponderosa's wedding in the woods as uninvited guests. A responding officer explicitly states those present were 'the only people on the scene that weren't invited,' and the group refuses to leave and contributes to the disturbance."
