The Gang Finds a Dead Guy
Criminal Activities
Destruction of Property
Deliberately cutting or disabling a telephone line or other communications equipment, which constitutes criminal mischief and tampering with communications under U.S. law (state statutes vary but generally prohibit willful destruction or disabling of telephone/communication lines).
Situation:
"Behind Paddy's Pub, after failing to sell the items, Charlie and Mac burn the Nazi regalia in a barrel."
Solicitation to commit aggravated assault
Mac proposes going with a group to intimidate Tom Brady and 'maybe break his arm,' soliciting others to seriously injure someone.
Situation:
"At Paddy's Pub, Mac argues with Dennis about his plan to harm Tom Brady; no further action is taken beyond the solicitation."
Theft by conversion and attempted sale of another's property
They decided to keep Dennis and Dee's grandfather's (Pop-Pop's) Nazi uniform and medals—property meant to be delivered to him—and attempted to sell them.
Situation:
"After obtaining Pop-Pop's trunk, Charlie and Mac take the Nazi regalia to a museum to sell; the curator refuses and threatens to call the police."
Violation of public health and safety codes
They knowingly kept the bar open and served customers immediately after a patron died in a booth contaminated with feces and urine, without proper closure, reporting, or sanitation.
Situation:
"Following the discovery of a dead customer, Dennis insists they clean up and pretend it never happened, and the gang continues operating while the area is still a biohazard."
