Criminal Activities
Attempted cannibalism
Attempting to consume human flesh (cannibalism) and/or knowingly eating human meat.
Situation:
"After Frank claims the meat they ate was human, the group becomes obsessed with 'the hunger' for human flesh. They go to a morgue to get access to corpses with the intent to taste/eat them and also previously ate the steak they believed to be human meat."
Bribery
Offering, giving, or arranging payment to a public official to influence an official act or to secure a regulatory advantage (bribery / corrupt payment to a government official).
Situation:
"The morgue attendant offers '15 bucks get you 10 minutes alone with the bodies' and Charlie and Dee accept and pay for this private access, effectively buying illicit access to corpses."
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
Agreement and planning among multiple people to hunt and kill a human being — criminal conspiracy to commit homicide.
Situation:
"The group discusses and organizes a 'man-hunt' as a test of hunting skill, makes lists of targets, and repeatedly plans to hunt and capture a living human (notably Cricket), including discussing traps, bait (using Dee), and killing to satisfy their cannibalistic intentions."
Harassment
Course of conduct (repeated following/harassment) directed at a person that would cause a reasonable person to feel fear, alarm, or harassment; often criminalized as stalking or harassment and frequently enforced by restraining orders.
Situation:
"The group targets Cricket for a man-hunt: they stalk him, set traps, attempt to capture and humiliate him (tea-bagging/gorilla-mask), and generally engage in planned tormenting and confinement as part of the 'hunt.'"
Illegal handling of human remains (attempted)
Illegally handling or attempting to consume human remains; paying for private access to corpses and intending to take bites from them would constitute desecration/illegal corpse tampering.
Situation:
"Charlie and Dee pay a morgue attendant for ten minutes alone with bodies ("15 bucks get you 10 minutes alone with the bodies") and discuss/take steps toward tasting the dead bodies, which is an attempt to violate and tamper with human remains."
Illegal hunting
Killing a wild animal (Frank claims he shot a deer). Depending on local law this can be illegal or regulated hunting.
Situation:
"Frank boasts that he shot a '10 point buck' ("I k*lled the dear... 10 point buck. Ping! Right between the sorrowful little eyes.") and presents parts of that meat to the group."
Sexual assault
Non-consensual sexual intercourse or other sexual act committed without the victim's consent; a criminal offense under U.S. law (varies by jurisdiction).
Situation:
"Dennis and Mac admit to repeatedly humiliating and sexually assaulting Cricket (tea-bagging) since high school and plan/attempt similar sexual assaults as part of the hunt (discussing tea-bagging, gorilla-mask+pubes prank to force genital contact)."
Theft
Unauthorized taking and consumption of another person's personal property (petty theft/larceny): intentionally taking possession of property belonging to someone else without that person's consent.
Situation:
"Charlie admits to stealing meat from Frank's fridge and he and Dee cook and eat steaks taken from Frank's food supply (opening scene: "Frank's got, like, this whole fridge full of these delicious meats that I've been stealing")."
